Toyota has unveiled its 2012 Avensis
LAGOS, – Japanese auto giant,Toyota has unveiled its 2012 Avensis together with the extended Prius lineup which is a facelift to the current generation.
Both the sedan and wagon versions of the car were designed and engineered in Europe.
In the facelift, the Avensis has received both interior and exterior cosmetic tweaks.
The car is fitted with a redesigned upper grille and an aggressive looking lower grille.
The new Avensis now sport new, narrower headlamps with LED daytime running lamps.
At the rear, the car is fitted with a new rear bumper with center guard and a chrome trim license plate.
The car is also fitted with new fog lamps and alloy wheels for the new model year.
For the interior, the 2012 Avensis has received comparatively minor tweaks. The dashboard has been slightly modified and the parts that are frequently touched are upgraded with higher quality trim.
The new model is fitted with a new multimedia system, offered in three versions: Touch, Touch and Go and Touch and Go Plus.
