LASU: Pay Up Tuition Or Forfeit Admission
It seems as if the Lagos State University (LASU) is not going back on the hike in its tuition fees as the authorities have reiterated that the new students pay their tuition fees. Deadline for registration expires today. The new and old students are to pay the new tuition fees which ranges between N193,750 and N348, 750; N25,000 and N33,250 respectively. The students are to pay before the close of work today or forfeit their studentship.
The (SUG) president of the institution, Akeem Durojaiye faulted the management decision, describing it as too quick and act of insensitivity on their part.
Some members of the Student Union were arrested on Thursday morning by men of the Ojo Divisional Police Headquarters for malicious damages. They were bailed this morning by the other member of the student union. The so called “damages” was the student union arcade gate which the members of the student union broke down to gain access to their offices as it was locked up by the management.
The Union is assuring students who cannot meet the deadline to fear not.
