Senate: FG Should Suspend Subsidy Removal Until April 1, 2012

The senate have urged the Federal Government to suspend the subsidy removal until April 1, 2012, following the shut down of the nation’s economy caused by the nationwide strike after a one-hour meeting yesterday.

A committee was set up by the Senate to meet with the president and  the committee was given 48 hours ultimatum to report back the outcome of the meeting to the senate.
