American University of Nigeria (AUN) scholarship 2012/2013

American University of Nigeria (AUN) was originally established in partnership with the American University in Washington, DC. Now its primary academic partner in the US is Tulane University-a University that supports development efforts around the world.  Its Board of Trustees, which takes policy decisions and ensures the oversight of the University’s management, is composed of accomplished international statesmen, academic leaders, diplomats and highly successful business people.  Among them are Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu, former US Ambassador John Campbell, current European Union Ambassador to Nigeria, David Macrae, and former Ugandan Vice-President Gilbert Bukenya.

American University of Nigeria scholarship exam for 2012 – 2013 admission year is open to students. This is to further to promote and encourage bright students in their academic pursuit.

Please be informed that to qualify for the AUN scholarship examination taking place on May 26th, 2012 you must meet the following requirements:

  1. A minimum JAMB score of 245 on the latest sitting.
  2. 4 A’s (preferably in English language and Mathematics), and 6 B’s on other academic subjects, (not including Agricultural Sciences, Nigerian Languages, Religion, or Home Economics) on SS1 and SS2 high school transcripts.
  3. A letter of recommendation from your high school Principal or Academic Counselor. Please note that the recommendation letter must be typed on a school letter head paper, signed and stamped by the recommender.
