We still want Victor Moses at Chelsea – Di Matteo

Chelsea coach Roberto Di Matteo, has confirmed that the Blues have not ended their efforts to seal Victor Moses’ transfer from Wigan Athletic.

The Lactics chairman, Dave Whelan, rejected an improved bid of around £5million for the Nigerian and is asking for close to £10million.

“It’s something the clubs are discussing but at the moment he is a Wigan player,” Di Matteo said.

“He had a good season last season, he is young and an interesting prospect.”

Moses, who has one year left on his current deal, scored six goals last season.
