His appointment was contained in a statement issued in Ibadan on Tuesday by Festus Adedayo, the Special Adviser on Media to the Oyo State Governor, Abiola Ajimobi.
The statement stated that Oyo and Osun States, which jointly own the university, took the joint decision. Both states are controlled by the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), the party which has Mr. Tinubu as its leader.
