Jonathan reassures Nigerians on power, security
President Goodluck Jonathan yesterday reiterated his commitment towards transforming Nigeria, even as he assured that his administration would do everything humanly possible to ensure that the country achieves the needed stability in all sectors of the economy.
Jonathan, in a farewell message to the outgoing Austrian Ambassador to Nigeria, Dr. Stefan Scholz, said policies that will transform the nation’s economy and security are constantly being put in place just to satisfy Nigerians and himself.
Jonathan also stressed on his commitment towards resolving the lingering Nigerian power problems, assuring that in few months from now, Nigerians would begin to see the dividends of his democratic effort.
Jonathan who commended the outgoing ambassador for his role towards a beneficial bilateral relationship between Nigeria and Australia said “You have done wonderfully well and we are quite pleased with what you have achieved here”.
The Ambassador had responded that his stay in Nigeria was full of “honour, privilege and opportunity”
He commended Jonathan for his transformation agenda, and pledged the continuous support of the Australian government towards its implementation
