Fuel Scarcity: A litre now N120
Investigations have revealed that the price of petrol is now N120 per litre. Long queues have returned to filling stations. Black marketers make quick money by selling to desperate customers at N130 per litre in some places. It is a 30 to 40 percent increase in the price of the product.
In Maiduguri, Kwara, a litre goes for N110, In Akure it goes for N130. The NNPC Mega Station at Iworoko Road, Ado-Ekiti experience long queues that cause serious vehicular jams in the environs.
In Oyo State, a litre is sold between N110 and N130. It is sold for N130 per litre in Osun state
