University of Lagos Assistant Registrar dies
University of Lagos, UNILAG, recently lost its Assistant Registrar (Information), Mr. John Bebetonpremobota Kosin, to the cold hands of death.
He died at the age of 59.
Mr Kosin died on 2nd of January after a long battle with cancer of the intestine.
According to a statement issued by the university after his demise, Kosin, who hailed from Bomadi Local Government Area of Delta State, was born on March 3, 1963.
Kosin, popularly called pastor by his co-workers death was described as shocking and a great loss to the institution by the Vice-Chancellor of the institution, Prof. Rahamon Bello.
Mr. John Bebetonpremobota Kosin joined the services of UNILAG as an Administrative Officer 1, Information, in October 2005 and was promoted as an Assistant Registrar in October. 2009, a position he held till his demise.
He is survived by an aged mother, wife and children. His burial arrangements will be announced later.
