Physically Challenged Persons Protest in Kano


Hundreds  of physically challenged  persons, including    lepers, deaf  and   blind on Wednesday morning stormed the State House of Assembly to protest  the law which banned them from street  begging.

The aggrieved protesters started  from the premises of Kano State High Court  and moved  to  the State House of Assembly whereby they were addressed by the Clerk of the House, Lawal Badamasi Gezawa.Attempt by   policemen and personnel from the Nigeria civil defence corps (NSCD)  to stop  the peaceful  protest failed.
